— Since the start of this year, Jiashan has defined its ‘3+3’ modern industrial system. In particular, with regard to the digital economy sector, represented by integrated circuits, the county has introduced 24 specific industrial support policies for integrated circuits and smart sensors, and established an industrial fund totalling 10 billion yuan for these sectors. Integrated circuit projects that have been finalised or are under negotiation across the county cover areas such as design, packaging and testing, and equipment.
On 25 September, the Tsinghua Entrepreneurs Association’s 2020 Annual Conference Semiconductor Forum and the 2020 Jiashan County Semiconductor and Smart Sensors Forum were held in Jiashan. Leading figures from relevant domestic sectors gathered in Jiashan, and the Jiashan County Media Centre conducted exclusive interviews with several of these leaders to discuss the development prospects of Jiashan’s semiconductor industry against the backdrop of Yangtze River Delta integration.
