On 30 May 2021, National Science and Technology Workers’ Day, the 2021 Yangtze River Delta ‘Science for the Benefit of Every Household’ Collaborative Innovation Series of Events and the Jiashan County ‘30 May National Science and Technology Workers’ Day’ Commendation Ceremony were held at the Jiashan Expo Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel.

Mr Lu Yumin, General Manager of Zhejiang Xinli Microelectronics Co., Ltd., was awarded the title of ‘Jiashan’s Most Outstanding Science and Technology Worker’ for 2021.

Dr Lu Yumin is employed by Zhejiang Xinliwei Microelectronics Co., Ltd. He possesses over 15 years of extensive product development experience in the fields of semiconductors, radio frequency (RF) and microwave integrated circuits, and holds three authorised US patents, one authorised EU patent and nine Chinese patents. He has successfully brought technical expertise from a leading global millimetre-wave chip company back to China, developing the country’s first 24GSOC radar chip. This achievement has filled a domestic gap and overcome the bottleneck in meeting China’s demand for chips in the fields of smart vehicles and the Internet of Things.
