On the afternoon of 3 July, the Jiashan County Conference on Scientific and Technological Innovation and Talent Development was held with great fanfare. The conference fully implemented the spirit of the 7th Plenary Session (Enlarged) of the 14th Provincial Party Committee and the decisions and arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee. It examined and outlined plans for the county’s scientific and technological innovation and talent development work for the present and the foreseeable future, and mobilised the entire county to focus its efforts on implementing the strategies of ‘Strengthening the County through Innovation’ and ‘Strengthening the County through Talent’, thereby providing powerful innovative impetus and talent support for the construction of the ‘Dual Demonstration’ initiative and the ‘Key Window within the Key Window’.

Mr Lu Yumin, General Manager of Zhejiang Xinliwei Microelectronics Co., Ltd., was also invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech on behalf of the company. Mr Lu Yumin stated: “Xinliwei’s successful establishment in Jiashan is thanks to the care and support of leaders at all levels in Jiashan. Moving forward, we will continue to uphold the principles of innovation-driven and talent-driven development, steadily increasing our investment in intellectual property and talent recruitment.
